Dan Butterfield has over 25 years of experience in the field of natural health doing massage therapy, nutritional and wellness counseling. His background in farming helped form his philosophy that health begins in the soil. Dan teaches regular classes to both the public and other practitioners on various health topics.
His experience treating pain and injury with neuromuscular massage therapy expanced into studying visceral manipulation. This taught him that much chronic pain is caused by and perpetuated by organ dysfunction thus leading him further into diet and nutrition as a means of addressing some of the underlying causes of pain, degeneration and premature aging.

Eva M. Selhub, MD

Fred Hahn has been involved in exercise since he was 10 years old and has been training clients for more than 20 years. He began developing his Slow Burn system as a physical therapy aide at the Hospital for Joint Disease Sports Disease Medicine Center in NYC. In 1994, along with one of NY's leading orthopedic surgeon's he co-founded and directed Metro Sportsmed.
In 1998 Fred founded and established Serious Strength Inc., a Slow Burn personal training and rebabilitative exercise center in NYC. His clients include top CEO's, celebrities, bestselling authors, journalists and TV personalities.
In an effort to provide the best nutritional guidance possible for his clients, Fred initiated an intellectual partnership with the authors of the New York Times bestselling book Protein Power, Drs. Michael and Mary Dan Eased and together authored The Slow Burn Fitness Revolution. It is currently in its ninth printing and is one of the best selling fitness books in Random House history. His new book Strong Kids Healthy Kids teaches parents and their children how to lift weights safely and how to eat healthfully by following a low carbohydrate eating plan.
Fred has lectured extensively on exercise including Princeton University, Chelsea Piers, Hospital for Joint Disease, Mt. Sinai Hospital as well as abroad. He was a senior staff writer for Women's Basketball Magazine and has his articles published in numerous fitness publications. He studies at Castleton State College and Long Island University and has an impressive continuing education resume.
Fred is a board member of the Nutrition and Metabolism Society and blogs for the Huffington Post. He is professionally certified by the American Council on Exercise. He lives in NYC with his wife and two children.

Dr. Ben Galyardt attended Syracuse University and majored in Health and Exercise Science. He has also completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker College of Chiropractic. The focus of his practice is uncovering the underlying imbalances and correcting them with natural therapies, including chiropractic, acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, cranial-sacral technique, exercise and nutritional counseling, and supplementation. Dr. Galyardt has taught at the Arizona School of Massage Therapy, and holds regular classes on various health topics.
